Man, I tell you, this guy is living the dream. Shaping studio in Santa Barbara, board gallery in Santa Barbara, opening the same in Tokyo, living high off the corporate spectacle that absorbed his name making it more of a trend than an individual. I would bet that there are a ton of people out there that still don't know that there is a Shawn stussy, just thinking that stussy is simply another brand like volcom, quiksilver, or billabong...in that way, it's weird how they've taken his name away from him. I'm really stoked however, to see that he is separately reclaiming his title, and leveraging it with the roots of what gave him significance in the beginning. Cheers Shawn.
